Calm down. Getting into college isn't as hard as you think it is. I have a pretty bad history with grades. I was suicidal and 1 year by GPA was a 1.45 for a semester and a 2.04 the other. I managed to graduate with a 3.0 but just barely and this is after I had submitted which means when my university I applied to got my grades I think they saw like a 2.6 and for high school usually that's not good.

My SAT was also lackluster at 1080. But look at me. I managed to get in. If I can so can you. Honestly college isn't that too hard to get into. And if you can't fit the bill you can file your FAFSA- it's a federal student aid program and if you're pretty much paying for your own way they will actually be VERY generous in funding your education but on the downside you may end up with a lot of debt.

Now for scholarships, you will have to apply for them AFTER you get into college because your college has specific scholarships that aren't nationwide. So your first year might be rough in terms of money, but after that as long as your grades are STELLAR (3.5+) you should be able to apply and get scholarships just fine.

Instead of doing an online thing for awhile I suggest you go straight to college. The online thing will just waste your time and money ... especially if the credits don't end up transferring which means you wasted your time.

It is very frustrating when there is no money coming in to pay the bills.
I don't know why your husband is not working. Is he getting disanility, workman's compensation, social security?
Just because he can't sleep that doesn't mean that you 'shouldn't' be able to.
You are 2 different people. He needs to see a counselor and get things figured out--he may need medication.

I'm the opposite, I'm not currently working, unable to sleep (right now at least), and he's the one who sleeps well, works well (new boss, new job function, same company), drinks well, and I'm the who stresses out. It must be our natural 'woman' thing! I guess I'm the one who does all the worrying for the both of us.

As for your dh, I think he just needs a little attention. When's the last time he got some TLC's?

AFter you've told him just how stressed you are, finally he turned around and said 'don't worry blah blah . . .'

Just a little attention. You're not confused, just don't mention it anymore about it, I'm sure it'll come up again a month from now.

I mentioned to dh last night, the last time we had this conversation (whatever it was that was bothering me - 2 glasses of wine 7x a week) was a month ago, when I was looking into getting a divorce. just hours before kids came by for Thanksgiving D.

He hugged me and told me he love me so much. But, he & Tiger Woods are both not happy at home. He drinks, TW is into sex. We have the money, the house, the cars, so what's not to be happy about? Go figure!

im bipolar and i have to take medicine because of extreme mania but it is not the best answer to it. i play piano as well and because of my medicine, my hands always shake and it takes a lot to focus enough to hit the right keys and still move fast enough because of the meds. if its piano you want, definitely DO NOT turn to medicine.
what helps me do better is just playing whatever i feel like on piano without the notes. i figured out the notes to some zelda songs and final fantasy songs on my own because its more relaxing. it helps your mind by still solving the song according to what you think sounds best and it relaxes. well for me at least.
its almost like reading. no one ever likes assigned novels but if you read on your own time and you pick the book, you may end up actually liking it.

Try to find music that appeals to you, then you are more apt to enjoy the piano rather than dread it. You say you absolutely hate it then in your P.S. say that you want to be successfull at it and don't want to quit. You need to relax by taking some deep breaths, tell yourself that you can do this then start a journal to reduce your stress. If, at some point, you don't want to do the piano anymore, give the journal to your parents to read so they can find out just how stressed out you are because of the piano.

Mind over matter.
What i mean by this is that if you think negative thoughts you will attract them and then the more you will hate them. So in other words, if you attract good thoughts you'll attract them and will feel good about them. You will therefore change your personality. It is the law of attraction.

i think you should really tell your parents how this is affecting you, and if you tried and they still want you to do it, then accept the situation, and stop trying to fight it mentally and physically, because you will make yourself ill if you dont decide to come to grips with your situation. Just take a breath and choose to excel at this situation, i know you can do it. Unfortunately life is filled with stuff we dont want to do, but we still do them... try to stay positive even when it hard.lol

Do deep breathing exercises before, during and after practice. While you play imagine you are at your favorite place, such as the beach. See the images as you play.
